Rare religious exhibits, including priceless icons dating back to the 3rd century, have been put on display at Paphos Bishopric’s new Ecclesiastical Museum.
The museum, situated on the site of the old Yeroksipou Primary School, was inaugurated on Sunday.
Archbishop Chrysostomos, Paphos Bishop Georgios and other members of the clergy attended the opening of the museum, which has created a suitable space for the display of important but fragile church artifacts that, until now, could not be safely put on show.
The public can visit the new museum, which is can be found next to Ayia Paraskevi Church in Yeroksipou, as of Monday (April 10).
