An open invitation to investors for the construction of the theme park "Mythos" in Paphos province is addressed by the owner Company Goldsky S.H Ltd, stressing that interest can be expressed either directly to the company or through Invest Cyprus.
Goldsky S.H. Ltd is 60% owned by foreign investors from Hong Kong who own the popular brand Talking Tom & friends and 40% by Cypriot investors and is run by Mr Savvas Hatzimenas.
The project which secured all the necessary permits if the effort to find an investor is successful will be built on an area of 45,000 sq.m. in the New Village of Paphos near Latsi.
The project will include:
-Special boat trips to the artificial river based on Greek Mythology and simulating the journey of Odysseus to Ithaca.
-A boat ride that will follow Jason's journey to Kolchida where there will be falls from 3.5 and 7 meters high.
-Playground with slides, climbing and special games.
-Play facilities for groups of four people in which there will be battles with water pistols.
-Special route where there will be narration for an old copper mine and a building with visual illusions.
-Special room for events that can accommodate 1500 people a day
- Restaurant 320 sq.m. with café.
-Music amphitheatre with a capacity of up to 800 people with wooden bleachers
-7-dimensional (7D) cinema for viewing 20-minute video of the history of Cyprus
-Two souvenir shops
- Locker room
- Facilities for the disabled.
-280 parking spaces
-15 bus seats
-Ticket sales area 2 sq.m.
- Two offices
-First aid area 17 sq.m.
-Administration building 17 sq.m.
The cost of the project for Cyprus is a total of €11.5m with the land and already investors from Hong Kong and Cypriot investors have invested €4.5m to buy the land, architectural plans, building permits, licence agreement and other expenses
