Healthy Snacking tips from Dr. Bill Sears

Good snacks should partner carbs with protein, fiber and healthy fats.  Below are some suggestions for your healthy snacking!

  • baby carrots and hummus

  • apple slices and peanut butter

  • whole grain cereal with yogurt

  • edamme

  • string cheese with a piece of fruit

  • cottage cheese and fruit

  • handful of raw nuts

  • blueberries in yogurt

  • cherry tomatoes with cheese or cottage cheese

  • hard boiled egg

  • any fruit
