It was not enough to have fun until morning in the recreation centers of the shopping center of Paphos. They had '' fun" departing, destroying saplings recently planted during the regeneration of the area by the Municipality of Paphos.
The damage was caused by young people, it is alleged by the Police and the Municipality, regulars of the renovated market area of the city who for the umpteenth time vandalized the greenery in the midnight hours, before departing from the area.
This time, the number of unidentified citizens have damaged in total 14 saplings planted in the area of Paphos Provincial Administration. As found in the morning and reported to the Police, the perpetrators broke branches, caused damage to the infrastructure for the protection of the saplings, and attempted to uproot many of them to no avail.
The Police have already begun the investigations into the culprits of this new vandal action, using closed surveillance footage available from both the Provincial Administration building complex and several shops in the area.
