On the eastern coast of Cyprus, the French frigate La Fayette was seen moving. Specifically, the French warship was caught in the photographic lens of eyenews sailing off Protaras and Konnos beach.
It is recalled that the French frigate had sailed from Larnaca to take part in joint exercises by French and Greek naval and air forces, in an area that Turkey has committed to the illegal investigations of Oruc Reis.
At the end of the joint exercises, the La Fayette frigate returned to the area, where it conducts patrols.
It is noted that it is one of the most important surface vessels of the French navy. The five frigates, Class La Fayette, equipped with the French navy can successfully conduct anti-submarine combat as well as area defense, since they have very powerful and advanced anti-aircraft systems.
