68 VIOLATIONS REGARDING MASKS AND CURFEW

68 complaints have been made by the police in the last 24 hours as part of the checks in relation to compliance with measures to prevent the spread of the crown virus. 2,398 checks were carried out in Cyprus.

As a spokesman for the Police Press Office told THE CYPE, 21 complaints related to the movement of civilians after 11 p.m. and the rest to the non-use of a mask.

Of these, one complaint concerned an employee of a premises in Famagusta who was not wearing a mask and another the incorrect use of a mask by an employee in a premises in Paphos and the absence of an antiseptic in the toilet and the absence of written information to the employees about COVID-19.

In Nicosia there were 192 checks and there were 19 complaints. In Limassol 562 audits and 15 complaints were carried out and in Larnaca 410 audits and 14 complaints were carried out. In Paphos there were 518 checks and there were 9 complaints and in Famagusta 534 audits resulted in 9 complaints. In Morfu there were 139 checks and there were 2 complaints.

There were also 43 checks carried out by the Port Police without any complaint.
