In Spain the number of cases amounts to 925,341 with 33,204 deaths.

Over 5,000 new cases of coronavirus in Germany

The number of confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in Germany increased by 5,132 in the previous 24 hours to 334,585, according to data collected by the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases.

At the same time, the death toll from the coronavirus pandemic reached 9,677 dead by this stage, as another 40 patients succumbed to COVID-19, according to the same source.

Over 300 new deaths in Brazil

Eli Lilly's drug for coronavirus discontinued for safety reasons

Us pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly & Co announced tonight that the clinical trial of antibody therapy for Covid-19, which was funded by the US government, was discontinued due to a patient safety concern.
