LOCAL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY TAX - PAYABLE TO TALA COUNCIL

Those who have their title deeds are reminded that the local immovable property tax is now due for payment to Tala Council.  When going in to pay, if possible please take with you a previous receipt showing the full reference.

If you have received your title deeds during the last 12 months, this tax is only payable once your title deeds have been received.  To pay this tax for the first time, please take your title deeds into the Council office with you when you go to pay.

No reminders are issued.

The listing from the Land Registry is incomplete for roughly half the properties for which this tax is payable.   Efforts are being made by the staff at Tala Council office to update the information to include all the missing date in the hope that in 2019 it will be possible for homeowners to pay this tax online via JCC Smart.
