BE ALERT FOR SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOUR AROUND PARKED VEHICLES

There are reports of minor thefts of body parts from parked vehicles.  It is not known if parts are being stolen to order but some care appears to be being taken to remove them.  In the latest incident a rear wiper unit has been unbolted and taken from a parked Honda vehicle in Tala.

This follows on from previous reports over the last 12 months of tampering with petrol caps, removal of a rear wheel arch and caps from tyres, amongst other things.  Vehicles have been parked in carparks, at the side of the road, or within complexes.
