PHAEDON - CREATION OF A THIRD PILLAR IN THE ECONOMY OF PAPHOS

He added that the success of this project would also benefit the country's economy and at the same time set a tangible example for other cities, noting that the special burden of Paphos and our country in the wider region would increase..

He pointed out that it is very important to design and implement projects, the result and benefits of which will be felt in future times and not necessarily in the narrow context of a term of office, which they as public figures serve.

He also considered that there is, in his view, no greater impact on the course of a society and a nation than that of Education, the education of the cultivation of competences and competences. Part of the broader chapter of Education, with a timeless special weight and role, is Research, Innovation and Technology, as he said.

Expressing his concerns, Mr. Phaedon said that Paphos, a small and for many decades neglected city and province, must redefine its stigma and course in the coming decades.

The work of the Pafos Innovation Institute, which was inaugurated on Friday and is a jewel for Paphos, is added to a long list of infrastructure and urban development projects of the Municipality of Paphos, which have matured and been implemented in the last 6 years.

Indicatively, he said 10 major projects have been inaugurated, 3 others have been completed and have not yet been inaugurated and another 10 are under way and will be ready in a few months.
