LIST OF LABORATORIES WHO CAN CARRY OUT A MOLECULAR EXAMINATION FOR COVID-19

The Ministry of Health recalls the list of private Clinical Laboratories, which have verified the process of carrying out the diagnostic methodology that detects virus genetic material (RT-RCR), which is the only acceptable and approved method of investigating COVID-19, and to which citizens and/or businesses can privately report for examination.

It should be noted that by The Infectious Diseases Decree No. 38, dated 20 August 2020, a maximum price has been fixed for the coronavirus COVID-19 of €75 (excluding VAT).

In particular, in addition to the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and the Microbiological Laboratories of the OKY Hospitals, the private Clinical Laboratories that have completed the process of verifying the diagnostic methodology that detects the genetic material of the virus (RT-RCR) are:
