ALMOST 1500 ANTI-COVID CHECKS, DOZENS OF FINES

Authorities continue to intensify a campaign of enforcing relevant anti-covid protocols and regulations, conducting 1400 checks over the past 24 hours, resulting in 66 charges, against 62 individuals and four businesses.

22 individuals were fined in Nicosia out of 303 checks, 14 in Limassol out of 262 checks and in Larnaca, 2 citizens and one business were fined out of 214 checks.

In Paphos, 3 people and 2 businesses were fined out of 131 checks, in Famagusta 21 citizens and one business were charged in 380 checks, while in the Morphou police district there were no fines, out of 112 checks.
