The ceremony of depositing the foundation stone of the Regional Health Center of Geroskipou takes place at 11.30 in the morning. The deposit of the foundation stone will be made by the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiades.
Construction of the project began in January 2020 and is expected to be completed in June 2021. The cost of the project, estimated at two million euros, will be taken over by the State by 4/5 and the Municipality of Geroskipou by 1/5.
The Medical Center, with a total area of 1,600 sq.m., will bear the name "Christoforos Neophytou Hatzilabris" in a sign of appreciation to the donor of the property. It is located despite the roundabout of Kolonis, in a privileged position for the service of the residents of Geroskipou and the communities of eastern Paphos.
