SECURITY - 'MARKET RESEARCHER' IN TALA

UPDATE - MTN have confirmed that they have market researchers in the Tala area.  However, they should all have a badge and photographic ID.   They do not use MTN vehicles but their own transport.

As there also appear to be a couple of individuals around with clipboards but without any ID or badge, please be careful who you allow into your home or supply information to.

There has been a notification of a gentleman [possibly Sri Lankan] spotted outside a garden close to the village centre.   He was holding a clipboard.   When challenged he said he was conducting market research regarding computers and mobile phones.    He disappeared when told that he would have to return when the owner's husband was there.

The Police have advised that they have not been made aware of this type of activity.   If anyone else has experience of this, or comes across this gentleman, a photograph and/or more information, ie transport being used, would be helpful.
