Jet2 budget airline announced on Wednesday it was suspending all flights to Cyprus and Greece until next year.
In a written statement, the airline said that due to the latest travel advice, it has taken a decision to suspend flights and holidays to Greece and Cyprus.
“We are planning to restart our flights and holiday programmes to Greece from 30th March 2021 and Cyprus from 13th February 2021,” the statement said.
The company said that it would be operating a programme of inbound flights up to November 8, including for its customers who are currently in resorts.
The announcement comes after the UK put Cyprus on its list of countries from which passengers will have to quarantine for 14 days upon their return effective from last Sunday.
