A submarine that is part of the UK's nuclear deterrent programme has become a health "bomb" as more than 35 crew members tested positive for the coronavirus.
Reports suggest that this particular vessel was part of a group of vessels that even reached Florida, one of the US states that have been severely affected by the coronavirus. Previously, crew members allegedly got off the submarine when it was "tied up" at a Georgia base to visit bars and restaurants in the area.
The submarine HMS Vigilant has been the subject of debate in the past, as some of its crew members were removed in 2017 after drug test results showed cocaine in their blood. A spokesman for the UK Royal Navy said it did not comment on matters related to submarine operations.
