The Nicosia tourism board has installed information signs to promote various landmarks around the city as part of the digitalisation of tourism, it was announced on Monday.
The organisation said it had installed info points to promote “smart tourism” on the island and enrich touring experiences in the city.
The information is available in English while the boards provide a QR and NFC code for further material.
The design of the info points was based on the neo Nicosia logo. They have been installed at the Eleftheria monument, Hamam Omerye, Famagusta gate, Casteliotissa hall, Faneromini church, the Fairy tale museum, centre of visual arts and research (CVAR), Nicosia municipal arts centre, associated with the Pierides foundation (NiMac), the Stelios Ioannou library and at the university of Nicosia.
