HIGH DUST LEVELS RECORDED ON TUESDAY

The labour department has warned the public to limit where possible movement outdoors as high dust concentration has been recorded.

Tuesday’s data shows that the highest concentration as of 9am was in Nicosia (127μgm) and Limassol (139μg/m).

Larnaca (103μg) and Paphos (69μg) were less severely impacted but still crossed over the 50μg limit at which point health issues may arise.
