ROAD TAX RENEWAL

The Road Traffic Department has announced that road tax can be renewed with effect from 7 January 2015.



This can be done electronically via http://rtd.mcw.gov.cy [providing link to JCCSmart], at branches of the Co-Op Bank, Commercial banks, Citizens Advice/Support Centres, District offices of the Post Office, and the Road Traffic Department.

The deadline for payment is the 9 February, after which time fines will be levied.

Instalment schemes are also available for those struggling to pay the road tax in one lump sum - again details on http://rtd.mcw.gov.cy.
