Police booked 46 premises and individuals for violating coronavirus measures from Wednesday until Thursday, nearly twice as many as the day before.
While 24 were fined in 24 hours from Tuesday until Wednesday morning, eight establishments and 16 individuals, a day later 35 individuals and 11 businesses were caught.
The number of inspections has also been stepped up, from 540 to 1,008.
In Nicosia, 271 checks were carried out, in Limassol 159, in Larnaca 157, in Paphos 134, in Famagusta 211 and in the Morphou district 76.
A total of 14 individuals were booked in Limassol, seven in Nicosia, another seven in Larnaca, two in Paphos, four in the Famagusta district and one in the Morphou district.
