Police booked just two businesses and 14 individuals in 24 hours for violating protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 while carrying out 574 checks from Tuesday until Wednesday.
In the Nicosia district, three individuals were fined, in Limassol two, in Larnaca one, in Paphos two and in Famagusta six.
The premises which were booked are located in Nicosia and in Paphos.
No violations were recorded at the ports and airports where additional checks were carried out.
From Monday until Tuesday one establishment and 20 individuals were fined.
