The health ministry on Wednesday announced that coronavirus cases were detected in four businesses in Limassol and one in Nicosia. The announcement is per a decree stipulating that authorities need to announce the names of businesses and services in the public and private sectors in cases coronavirus cases are detected there.
The ministry said that during the past 24 hours, coronavirus cases were detected linked with Yellow Café, Agrambeli bar, Mr Nargilax nargileh café and Gonia café-bar all in Limassol.
Cases were also detected that were linked to the offices of Eurolife in Nicosia.
The management of these businesses were informed by the epidemiological surveillance unit and have removed the people who tested positive as well as their close contacts, the ministry said. Instructions were also given to take all other necessary actions according to the health protocols.
