CAFE IN LIMASSOL ACCUSED OF VIOLATING MEASURES

In a complaint of a café in Limassol, the Police proceeded, after being found to be working after 23:00 in the evening, in violation of the relevant decree of the Ministry of Health.

According to the Police, the premises in question have been reported for violation of the Infectious Diseases Act and the orders of the Ministry of Health, after it was found to be working and having customers, after the time of its prohibition.

Moreover, the complaints of citizens found in open spaces and not masked amount to 23.

Complaints

The Police have made a total of 41 complaints in the last 24 hours for violations of orders to limit the spread of coronavirus.

In total, a spokesman for the Police Press Office told the CYPE, 34 civilians and 7 premises were reported from 970 checks carried out.

In particular, in the province of Nicosia there were 195 checks during which one premises and 3 citizens were reported.

In Limassol there were 116 checks during which one premises and 11 citizens were reported, while in Larnaca 180 checks 2 premises were reported.

In addition, 1 citizen and 3 premises were reported in Paphos from 191 checks, while in Famagusta 218 audits resulted in complaints against 17 citizens.

Finally, two citizens were reported from the province of Morfos out of a total of 75 checks.
