THE 11 COMPANIES WHERE CASES OF COVID-19 WERE DETECTED

The Ministry of Health published the list of companies where cases of coronavirus have been detected in the previous days.

According to a communication from the Ministry of Health, to any undertaking and/or to the public and/or wider public sector and/or to the Independent Services and/or local authorities, a case of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is detected within 24 hours for public health purposes, the Ministry of Health shall communicate the relevant details including, inter alia, the name and address of the undertaking and/or service of the public and/or wider public sector and/or the Independent Service and/or the Local Government Authority.

Therefore, the Ministry of Health, after being informed by the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, wishes to inform the public of the following, concerning the detection of cases according to the results of laboratory tests for SARS-CoV-2 virus taken on 15-17/10/2020:

• Shop "Sports", Limassol
• Zenios Ignatiou Barbershop, Limassol
• Cafe "Rather Glyki", Sariplou, Limassol
• Oven "Sunfresh", Agia Phyla, Limassol
• Hotel Aldiana, Alaminos, Larnaca
• RCB Bank, Limassol
• Valentina Hairdresser, Limassol
• Land Registry, Limassol
• Jumbo Shop, Polemidia, Limassol
• Tavern "Salomi", Limassol
• Bank of Cyprus Branch, Coral Bay, Paphos

The addresses of the above premises were informed by the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit to identify cases at their premises and actions were taken to remove virus-positive individuals, as well as persons declared as close contacts. At the same time, instructions were given to disinfect the premises in accordance with the protocol.
