Very serious incidents occurred in Limassol at a protest event held against the measures taken for the crown, against 5G and against corruption.
As shown in the photo, the demonstrators burned a police vehicle, and members of the Force were also reportedly injured. The protesters threw stones at police officers and burned cars.
The event was attended by around 400 people who marched towards the beach, while among them were hooded individuals.
Late in the evening, the police sent reinforcements near the courts to bring the situation under control.
The event's organizer was reportedly a person who recently concerned the authorities with other cases.
