The cyber-crime combatting office of the police on Thursday issued an alert over malicious messages sent through messenger from one facebook friend to another.
A recipient loses control of its facebook account after opening the sent messenger message which refers them to a ‘you tube’ video.
The cyber-crime combatting office called for caution and prompted concerned citizens to visit its website: www.cyberalert.cy
