As part of a campaign to crack down on traffic offences and juvenile delinquency carried out between the dates 18-24 September, 2020 in all provinces, the Police seized a total of 36 mopeds/motorcycles and 24 vehicles.
All the above vehicles were retained by the Police after it was found that some of them had undergone mechanical or other modifications, others were driven while registered as immobilised, some did not carry registration numbers, as well as for various other traffic offences.
