STAFF IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES plan a one-hour strike on Thursday 17 September, between the hours of 11am and 12noon. The Trade Union members taking part will belong to O-SEK, SEDIKEK – PEO and DEOK.
During this one-hour stoppage, members of the public will not be served.
The strike is to raise awareness of the issue of local government reform, under-staffing of services, recruitment/promotion block, purchase of services and the wider economic situation created by the pandemic.
The strike will be held within coronavirus protocol requirements.
