Re the local elections, I regret to advise that a number of people received a malicious phone call on Wednesday 30 November advising that I had been arrested for assault, was either at Paphos Police Station or on my way there, and that, as I would now have a criminal record, I would not be able to stand for re-election for Council.
The calls and story are purely malicious and there is no truth to them at all.
I am standing for Council on 18 December.
