In view of the resumption of the academic year, the Ministry of Health reminds citizens who intend to travel to Category B countries (e.g. Greece, the United Kingdom, Italy, etc.) to accompany students, the following recommendations, with a prompt to observe them on their return to Cyprus:
- Limit as far as possible their contacts with other persons in their family, social and professional environment for at least 7 days.
- Strict observance of social distancing and personal hygiene measures in accordance with the guidelines.
- Monitoring their health status and direct communication with their Personal Physician in case of developing symptoms. It is recalled that the symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 are fever, cough, shortness of breath, headaches, immunity, agaesthesia, dysgeia.
- Repeat the laboratory test, if possible, 7 days after arrival, even if the result of the test at the airport was negative.
Citizens travelling abroad, regardless of country, should be informed of the measures in force in each country and observe them throughout their stay.
