Dominican Republic was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492. Dominican Republic was the first permanent European settelemen in the Americas. The land is famous far Caribbean and Latin American worlds and is a mix of Spanish, French, Haitian and African communities. Located in Caribbean Sea this place is best known for beach resorts and in called Paradise of golfers.

Travel Tips:
Best time to visit: Winter is the best season to visit as sun is often to fierce in summers. However it’s best if you visit in February during Carnival on the occasion of Dominican independence.

Tips for reaching: Most of the flights are from New York, you can get a visa on arrival given the conditions you are American citizen or have a valid American visa. All you need to do for getting visa on arrival is give entry fee of 20 dollars, which ia chased by free rum once though with customs.
