Travel Tips - Learn the local Language
Whenver you are visitng another country for any reason vacations, buisness trip etc one of the most important things is to learn a little bit of the local language. You should learn simple words like hello, thanks, how much does this costs and other similar words in the local language.
Recently on of my friend was visited France and before visitirng he had learnt French very fluently from the website http://www.traducteur-anglaisfrancais.fr/ this website allows for English to French translation ( Traducteur Anglais Francais) and vice versa. Moreover he had his iphone with him so whenever he found any difficulty he simply open the site in his iphone write what he want to say in English and click on translate to French it as simple as the click of a mouse.
This is a simple but effective thing when it comes to visiting countries where English is not primary language. Hope you find this post useful. Looking forwards for your replies.

Los Alamos, New Mexico Fire From 30,000 Feet in Air
I snapped this picture from my camera phone as we passed near the massive wildfire that had at one point threatened the Los Alamos National Laboratory -- one of the country's biggest nuclear research facilities and home to an old hazardous waste site. The fire was only 70 feet from the facility before firefighters pushed it back.
Thankfully the lab was spared and the fire is now 40 percent contained. But the largest wild-lands blaze in New Mexico history sadly still threatens a sacred Pueblo Indian mountain, although the weather is helping stave it off for now.
Props to the United Airlines pilot on the flight from Washington Dulles to San Diego Lindbergh Field for pointing this out to the passengers.

House Progress 8
Thanks everyone for all of your comments on my House Progress. It is fun to hear what you think and receive your encouragement, it is truly appreciated! Let the countdown begin: we are three weeks away from closing. It's hard to believe it will be finished in time but it still sounds like we are on track even if they are rushing.
They finally painted our exterior, and I am happy with how the color turned out:
Now they have to add the shutters, do all of the landscaping, and a number of other exterior things--this is the biggest obstacle to closing.
They installed our mosaic marble tiles on our tub, which is the same tile we have on our backsplash. I have to finalize the trim piece to finish it off:
They also installed all of our mirrors except for in the master bathroom. One of the less exciting Jack & Jill upstairs bathrooms:
The opposite side is very similar along with our second upstairs bathroom all with the same basic mirrors and fixtures.

Majority view Scotland as a Country
During my free time , I conducted a survey on a another website in the form of a poll (viewable here via Historum). The survey included 100 internet users, and the question was:
Is Scotland a Country?
And the results are:
A majority of 62 percent, that is 62 Participants, voted that Scotland is indeed a country (note: it isn't mentioned that it is an independent country). 17% had voted that it is not, and 21% (I assume) are undecided or say it is both Yes and No.
This could be an advantage to the Scots, I have to say. It reaffirms Scotland's own unique heritage and culture as well as nationality. Whether this is a prelude to the support for a referendum for Scotland's independence, I do not know. But what is known is, there is a continuing increase in the likelihood of independence of Scotland from the United Kingdom.
