No Exercise Plan Works - You Do

There is no way that anyone can tell you exactly what you need when it comes to an exercise plan or program. It should fit your needs and your lifestyle. A decision is all you need to work out, to lose weight, or to better health. Many plans or programs on the Internet guide and coach you.

You need a guide to set up a schedule, to show you the correct exercise and correct execution. So many times, people start exercising without guidance. The result is physical injuries or just over exertion leading to discouragement.

We read many articles, in an effort, to present relevant and important exercise and diet information. The Articles and sites visited stressed exercise and weight loss as the most important.

Many claim the magic potion or the perfect workout. You will find promises of fast, easy weight loss and perfect bodies. There is no doubt they work. Exercise done consistently and properly will get results.

Before being swooned into a program or plan research and study them before making your decision. There is no program or diet plan that works.... only thing that will make a plan or program work is you! Positive mental attitude and effort will take you farther than any plan or program.

Physical exercise is any bodily activity that stresses muscles, improves health and gives an overall good feeling. Exercise has many benefits, to lose weight, to better the physique, strengthen muscles and to improve health.

After much research the conclusion is no bad plans just bad attitudes. People want results now. They don't want sweat and tears nor do they want to exert effort. Couch potatoes and channel surfers want results now.

Realize when it comes to diet and exercise there is nothing easy or free. It is a life changing decisions and an unstoppable effort that gets results. Make a decision let go of the remote.

After consulting with your physician and doing your research decide what you need for your goals. Select an exercise, a plan, or a program to help you reach those goals. To help make an informed decision we listed some tips. Make sure you look for the program or plan that will:

• Motivate you to exercise.

• Tell you to consult your doctor for a physical.

• Find out if you are physically able and if you have any special needs. What you and your doctor need should be a part of a program or plan.

• Meet your goals and needs: to feel better, to look better, or to resolve a medical issue.

• Coach and guide you to do proper exercises.

• Provide instruction on healthy nutrition.

• Give you guidance on the use and need of equipment such as shoes, gym clothes and monitoring techniques.

• Provide information on monitoring equipment and devices such as pedometers, heart rate monitor, and a blood pressure cuff.

• Set up a schedule and regiment. Stick to it!

• Include a Cardio workout always.

Many blogs stressed exercise, yet only one made it a point to emphasize cardio workouts. This is where you need the doctor's advice.

This is worth stressing. Cardio pulmonary workouts are essential to weight loss and good health. Monitoring heart rate is another essential. Cardio work outs do not have to be long just consistent.

Low impact workouts protect your knees. Low impact is walking briskly, bicycle riding or elliptical trainers. The emphasis is low impact with high intensity. High intensity, according to recent studies, is the way to build and tone muscles faster. Look for simple not easy, because in the long run there is no getting around exercise.

Remember form and consistency is the key to your success. Also don't forget, there this nothing worth having that is easy or free! The old adage, 'there is no gain without pain', is very true. The magic bullet, to perfect weight and health, is in you, let it explode.

I suffered, since age of 32, with Hypertension, and for that reason started exercising and eating healthy. I still find it difficult; as I am sure you do, to finding the proper food or exercise. That is why I review a number of plans and programs. I think they are the most representative of what people need. Find an Exercise Program That Works for You

Whether you choose to exercise to feel better, look better, lose weight, follow doctor's orders, due to peer pressure or because you are tired of being out of shape, your exercise choices are nearly unlimited. Search the internet and you will find thousands of programs and styles and regimens. Which one is the best one? How do you choose from the vast array of choices? The best one for you is any of those. The best one for you is the one or ones you can do consistently.

Below are a few questions to ask as you search for an exercise program that suits you.

Why are you exercising?

If you are looking to lose weight, first start with your eating. You will not be able to out exercise poor food choices. But exercise geared toward weight loss is a product of time and effort. The more time you put into exercise the less effort you will need as long as you're raising your heart rate. If you are exercising to complete a specific event, spend a majority of your time on exercises geared toward that event.

How much time do you have?

If you have limited time, think twice before deciding to train for an Ironman or marathon. Find activities near your home or work so that you are not spending extra time getting to and going from the workout. Condense your exercise and increase the intensity so that you are able to maximize the time you have.

What resources do you have?

Do you own a home gym, a gym membership or have the money to pay for classes or personal training? Or are you filling milk cartons with water to simulate dumbbells? Gyms, workout rooms and personal trainers are great as they offer a broader variety of routines and equipment you can use to get moving. But running, hiking, and calisthenics can be done with no equipment and a limited budget.

What is your experience level?

Did you recently finish your eleventh marathon and looking to try something new or was your idea of exercise going from the couch to the refrigerator? If you are new to exercising or haven't exercised in some time, start slow. High intensity exercises are very trendy but jump into them too early and you risk injury and burnout.

Try swimming, fast walking or jogging, or low intensity aerobics. Or use smaller weights in a resistance training program as you learn proper form. As you gain strength and increase your breathing capacity you can raise the intensity.

What type of personality do you have?

Are you organized with a planner that activates your life or do you get up in the morning and decide where to go from there? Do you like to work out alone or do you prefer being part of a group? Do you work better with a goal in mind or does that just work to frustrate you?

Be careful not to choose a program that goes against your personality type. If you hate large crowds, don't choose a 10k event with 30,000 other participants or a crowded aerobics class. If you like to be a part of a group, think twice before deciding on ultra-marathons.

Mix it up and Keep moving.

The benefits of exercise, both physical and psychological are significant. Don't give up because you haven't found something that works for you. Try something new. The internet is a great resource for exercise programs. Find one and try it. Even if you like it, think about mixing it up to avoid burn out. A change will also work different muscles.

Getting your lungs in shape and your muscles taut is not a one size fits all endeavor. You are not the same as your neighbor, spouse or friends. Don't give up because their idea of exercise is not yours. Eventually, you will find something that clicks and your body and mind will thank you for it.
