Top travel destination in world - 1
In this post and future posts in the series "Top travel destination in world" I will list out and explain the toursist locations of the countries that are in the top 10 list of world tourism survey. These countries are in the list on the criteria of number of toursits visitng those places including the domestic tourists.
First country in the list is Norway. Norway is a very charming city and attracts thousands of tourists. Norway has a great history rich in culture and folklore. Oslo is famous for old historic buildings, churches lush green forests art galleries etc. Edvard Munch Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum and must visit places. The attack on WTC. September 11, 2001. The day two planes hijacked by Al Qaeda rammed into the Twin Towers. New York was never the same after that. America was never the same again. The world was never the same after that.
The photos below show the true horrors of the destruction.
The second tower is hit as the first one burns.
The horror. People trapped above the fire. None made it alive. They waited as death slowly crept up to them.
Some preferred to end things this way.
The tower starts to crash after burning for hours. The aviation fuel, tons of it, melted everything. The steel girders. the concrete.
A plume of smoke and dust envelopes New York as the once proud building comes crashing down. The other tower still burns. it too came down after a few hours.
The aftermath. Horrific destruction.
