Elektronik posta kavramının ülkemizde de yaygınlaşması ile -özellikle MSN Messenger hizmeti sayesinde- kategorisinin lideri olan platform zamanla rakipleriyle arasını açmaya başladı.
Ortalama 325 milyon ziyaretçiye sahip olan site zaman zaman düşüş yaşasa da liderlik koltuğunu bırakmış değil. Şu sıralar tarihindeki en büyük değişimi yaşayan Hotmail tamamen yayından kalkıyor.
Microsoft'un Windows grubundan genel menajer Brian Hall'ın yaptığı açıklamaya göre yıllardır Hotmail.com ismiyle hizmet veren platform artık kapanıyor. Buna göre Outlook.com adresi üzerinden hizmet verecek yeni Hotmail adeta baştan yaratılmış.
Microsoft tarafından 400 milyon dolara satın alınan sistemde ağırlıklı renk olarak mavi seçilmiş. Sade bir arayüzün hakim olduğu yeni tasarımda yazılar okunacak büyüklükte ve daha net. Sol menüde hızlı erişim için Gelen Kutusu, Gereksiz, Taslaklar gibi sekmeler yer alırken ana ekranda ise okuma bölgesi mevcut.
Üst bölüme baktığımızda ise "Yeni" butonu dikkat çekiyor. Mail gönderme işlemini daha da kolaylaştırarak ön plana alan Microsoft, logonun hemen yanındaki araç sayesinde tek tıkla ileti yazılmasına olanak sağlıyor. Outlook ibaresinin yanındaki ok işaretine basmanız halinde ise Posta, Kişi, Takvim, Skydrive özel menüsü beliriyor.
Sağ üst köşede ise mesajlaşma, ayarlar ve yönetici paneli seçenekleri var. Bu kısımda dilerseniz diğer e-mail adreslerinizin ayarlarını yapabilir, renk seçeneğini değiştirebilir ya da hesap ayarları vasıtasıyla profilinizi düzenleyebilirsiniz.
En önemli yeniliklerin başında ise sosyal ağlarla olan entegre çalışma sistemi geliyor. Buna göre Twitter ve Facebookile uyumlu hale getirilen yeni Hotmail, artık belirtilen sosyal ağlar aracılığıyla arkadaşlarınızdan gelen içerikleri de gösteriyor. Üstelik kişi online ise Windows Messenger ya da Facebook Messenger online uygulamalarıyla anlık konuşma başlatabilmeniz mümkün.

Arnav takes over a builder's company in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!
While Khushi (Sanaya Irani) is trying hard to stay away from Arnav (Barun Sobti) in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Arnav on the other end is not leaving a single chance of winning her back.
Either by hook or crook, all Arnav wants is Khushi to come back to him. Looks like his love surely follows the adage, everything is fair in love and war. Last we saw how he had made up a 24 hours deal with Khushi in return of paying the rent of buaji’s house. Well, if you all were wondering as to what he will do next once the time line gets over then you will have your answers here.
Buzz states that as the 24 hours will get over, Arnav will churn out a new way of compelling Khushi. He will take over the builder’s company owning the right to the houses built in the locality where Khushi’s family resides. He will hike the rent charges and this will irk Khushi a lot, furthermore she will be left fuming when the builder will offer her to stay with him in return of getting the rent reduced.
Unbeknownst to the fact that it’s her Arnav who is the mastermind behind, she will barge into the builder’s office only to see a smirking Arnav as the owner of the company. He will again compel her to return back but Khushi will turn down the offer. Meanwhile, you will also get to see how one of the office employees gets beaten up by Arnav as he calls Khushi an item.
Though Khushi will remain adamant for some time but will have to give up in the end. And yeah, coming Rakshabandhan, you will also get to see Arnav and Khushi planning a surprise to cheer Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) up.

Arnav to make things more troublesome for Khushi in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!
The love tale of Arnav (Barun Sobti) and Khushi (Sanaya Irani) from Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is indeed a different one and one can see the recent episodes vouching of the same.
As seen, Khushi is miffed with Arnav as she thinks that he still doesn’t trust her and their relation holds no value for him. Moreover, she even feels that all the problems faced by Arnav, Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) and the other family members are because of her and she is just trying to bring peace in their lives by staying away from them.
However, Arnav, who is not very expert in expressing his true feelings, is trying hard to get Khushi back in his life. He is seen coming up with various tact of winning over her. First he tried playing the lovey-dovey husband but seeing that it wasn’t making any impact on her, he turned back into his real ASR mode.
Currently he is using the Gupta house as a way of getting on to Khushi. In the coming episodes Arnav will try hard to make things all the more difficult for Khushi. Now that Khushi is aware of Arnav taking over the builder’s company, she will not give it up before him. Arnav will threaten her of demolishing the house if his conditions are not met.
This won’t scare Khushi and she will decide to confront his acts. However, later she will be left with no other option other than returning back with Arnav as she won’t agree of letting her family suffer because of this.

Abha Parmar upset with the "cut-to-cut" shooting format in television
Abha Parmar, who is well-known as Buaji of Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, speaks out about the ‘system’ that prevents the show from not being able to have a bank of episodes in spite of completing two years.
Back-to-back shoot is something very much common these days, why? Well, the reply to this query still remains unanswered. “We still talk about our cut-to-cut shoot of the show but we don’t understand as to whom we should blame for our vulnerable life. We can’t even blame the production house, the channel, the actors and neither our audience as after all it’s a TRP game,” observes Abha.
“Even after completing two years of its successful run, our show is not able to create a bank and we still have to run for our schedules. I understand when a show starts, it has to buck up but now Iss Pyaar Ko… has completed two years but still we are missing out on a bank of episodes. Our lives have become so vulnerable that even after going on the sets for the shoot, we are kept on hold for long hours,” the actress notes.
So who does Abha blame for the misery? “Well, that’s what I am explaining that we can’t blame anyone for the state we are in, but one thing is for sure, because of such a situation, the whole system is suffering and we can’t catch any single person responsible for this,” remarks a disappointed Abha. “Though we get disappointed with the situation but as our show is doing well we get pleased,” concludes Abha.

I respect other people's time: Sanaya Irani
The discussion on punctuality for television serials and films is never ending. However, there are many stars who ensure that they reach their sets on time so as to avoid causing any inconvenience to the crew. One such person who is strongly punctual is Sanaya Irani.
She plays Khushi, a simple, middle-class girl, who is chirpy and fun loving, while actor Barun Sobti plays Arnav Singh Raizada, an arrogant business tycoon in 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'. Their bitter-sweet romance and the manner in which they discover love for each other is a talk of the telly town. Ask anyone on the sets and they will be prompt to reply that Sanaya is one such actor who is always on time.
When we asked Sanaya about her motivation to always be on time she says, "Time plays an important role in an actor's life and we should respect it. It's always good to begin your shoots on time and if you respect other people's timings your job becomes easier." Sanaya is definitely setting great examples for her other industry friends.
Scene Of The Week from 25th July to 31st July
This is probably the strangest love story in the entire universe and every now and then you can see the leads that is Arnav and Khushi as loggerheads. Few months back a new concept and a fresh track was introduced in IPK that of “CONTRACT MARRIAGE”, the same was once again brought back into the picture recently by Arnav when Khushi decided to leave the Raizada Mansion for the sake of everybody happiness and to restore peace. Aranv hopes to win Khushi’s heart before the contract ends and retain Khushi in his life forever. Whether he does this out of the LOVE he has for her or simply because she ha become a HABIT for him, needs to be shown with a lot more clarity and i am sure in the coming days we will get to know about it as well. So if we keep aside the above mentioned part which is purely in the hands of the makers, as viewers we know that Arnav does love Khushi and vice-versa. Most of the time they share a love-hate relationship but that’s the beauty of it “Nafrat Paad aane na de, Mohabbat door Jaane na de”……Khushi decides to leave the Raizada Mansion and Arnav on the pretext of Buaji being ill. Her motive behind this surely is that the more she stays the more hard it would be for her to cut off…..Arnav is unaware of this but does not takes things lightly and wants to be there for Khushi….He calls her up to find out whether everything was fine, brings in a doctor to check Buaji and does everything to make things easier for her. Khushi takes a fake prescription and about to leave to get the medicines when Arnav snatches it from her and we get one of the most romantic scenes from IPK this week. Khushi tries to get hold of the paper when Arnav tells her its not a task impossible and all she has to do is . . . In short he reminds of their incomplete Kiss. Khushi turns red on hearing it but goes with the flow and manages to get hold of the paper. Bets and challenges have always brought of the best in ASR-KKG and this time to it ends with a wonderful Kiss when Khushi tells Arnav that he lost the bet. Arnav moves forward to her Kisses on her cheek, enjoy it and lets her enjoy it too and whispers in her ears that he never loses a Bet. This could also mean that he would win her heart before the contract ended…Jo bhi ho the viewers were happy and so were we.
An Apple a Day....
Don't you love apples? So crisp and crunchy ......and full of vitamins! But no, that is not the point of the picture. The point is my new colander!! Isn't it a beauty? I am so in love with it. It is the perfect size, has little feet so it stands on it's own and actually drains, and has the cutest star patterned holes!
This was also a recent estate sale find, I really haven't gone to that many estate sales this year, this was from the same one I post about a couple of weeks ago, it was a gold mine! I think I would have paid four times the amount I paid, it is just so pretty. But then I only paid fifty-cents for it!!
