Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Romance - Hits’ & Misses’ – A Big No No

Star Plus’ hit show ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ which is one among the most viewed show by the masses on the channel, is apparently creating some befuddling situations in the recent times. When the viewers were anticipating a thorough romantic episode between Arnav & Khushi last Friday, 20^th July 2012, they got to watch Anjali’s despair & discontentment for the love her brother Arnav has for his beloved wife Khushi.

It seems the gloominess in Anjali’s life has convinced her that everyone around her should live a life deprived of any love and happiness. Unknowingly, she is destroying the lives of the two Raizada brothers and the two Gupta sisters. It seems that Anjali is bent upon snatching away the happiness from her brother Arnav & his wife Khushi’s life, a couple who have seen hell & back just because of her (Anjali’s) husband Shyam Manohar Jha. Although, Anjali’s character was one of the most loved characters in the show earlier but recently the words uttered by Anjali for her brother Arnav  in the show though were out of insecurity, but were naive, trivial & uncalled for, which may lead to her character assassination in future if this tendency of story- telling is continued by the creative’s & the production house.

Moreover, the CVs are trying to feed the audience with the same kind of scenes again and again. The funny part of the romance between the leads Arnav & Khushi is that their romance always comes with an interruption. The interrupters can be a mere cell phone, a bunch of goons, one of the servants among the Prakash brothers or even the entire Raizada Family together. Whenever Arnav Khushi try to get a little intimate, their romance is literally killed and the viewer’s anticipated excitement is ruptured by these interrupters!!!This kind of interruptions knocking every single time the couple gets a little cosy is leaving behind a frustrated and perplexed audience. We are still waiting for the CVs to give us an uninterrupted Romantic Sequence between the “Married Couple” who are not at all treated as if they are ‘married’ by the family.

We can only hope that the coming week will provide the viewers with some quality romance between Arnav Singh Raizada & Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada without much interference & interruptions & we also hope the CV’s get back the old loving, caring Anjali. Although getting to see the ‘Old Anjali’ seems like a distant dream now. All we can hope is that Arnav- Khushi are given the due privacy which they deserve ‘Being The Married Couple That They Are’ in future.

Digg’in Yüzü Değişiyor

Geçtiğimiz hafta Betaworks’ün popüler sosyal ağ sitesi Digg’i 500.000 dolar karşılığı satın aldığını duyurmuştuk.

Steve Jobs'un biiygrafisini yazan Walter Isaacson, Apple'ın kurucusunun sosyal ağ işine girmemesinin nedeninin, Zuckerberg'in bu işi çok iyi yapmış olması olduğunu açıkladı.



Facebook yönetim kurulu üyesi ve Washington Post Company CEO'su Don Graham, Isaacson'a şöyle demiş: "Bir keresinde Jobs'a Silikon Vadisi'nde kimlere hayranlık duyduğunu sordum. İlk söylediği isim Mark'tı."



Isaacson'a göre Jobs'un hayranlığı, Zuckerberg'in Facebook'ta bir sonraki adımın ne olacağı konusunda "doğru bir içgüdüye" sahip olması ve bu nedenle genç girişimciye "kendisini tuhaf bir şekilde yakın" hissetmesi.



Isaacson Jobs'a neden Ping'den sonra sosyal ağ alanında faaliyet göstermeyi bıraktığını sorunca Jobs şöyle cevap vermiş: "Belki Mark bu işi çok iyi yapmış olduğu için. Çok fazla sayıda sosyal ağa gerek yok ve Facebook bu işi çözmüş durumda."

Karan Goddwani on his share of Ups and Downs in the Industry

Karan Goddwani, who came to the limelight as the lead in SAB TV’s Jugni Chali Jalandhar, is thankful to the Almighty for keeping him grounded and happy during his good as well as bad phases in life.

Speaking about the ups and downs he has faced in the industry, the actor tells us, “I have seen a very bad phase where I had no job in hand for a long time. I can still recollect the days post Jugni Chali Jalandhar when I left for Spain to help out my family as they wanted to shift base to India. When I got back, things were very difficult for me. I was typecast as the petwala hero in Jugni, and I had to work on my physique to have a second innings on television. I got into good shape but things did not work in my favour. There was a time when I even contemplated to take up a new profession, as I was an engineer and a dancer also. And that is when Rang Badalti Odhani happened. Unfortunately, Star One went for a revamp and the show saw its end. That was again a very bad phase for me.”

After a pause, he adds, “Luckily, I bagged the role of NK in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Star Plus) and people liked my character so much that I was called back on the show. I am very happy now and thankful to God.”

Karan is also seen essaying the role of Ranveer in Colors’ Chhal Sheh Aur Maat. However, the actor is looking forward to more exciting roles on television. “If things work out I might take up another show. Also, there has been a buzz about Chhal going off air.”

On juggling between two shows, the actor states, “It gets difficult to be a part of two shows, especially when the shows have no bank. There are times when I am shooting throughout the day for Iss Pyaar Ko Kys Naam Doon and at nights on the sets of Chhal. However, I am lucky to have EPs (Executive Producers) who are very co-operative. They adjust my time in such a way that it does not clash with the other show.”
